I just stumbled upon your tutorial, thank you very much for it! However, I was wondering what would be the procedure to make them custom instead of default replacements? :0 If you had the time to tell me or could give me a link to a tutorial or something that would be great, thanks in advance! ^^

Oh, and also, when you say "If you plan on making any brightness and/or tonal changes to the files, you'll want to download the scalps as well.", you mean changing the brightness in photoshop will alter the way the scalp shows up in game?
We shouldn't play with brightness and contrast while making the skins?

Those are questions that come up and I don't have a GOS account, so I hope you won't mind me asking here :3

Ohh now I understand! And do I have to change the brightness/contrast only? Also how can I save that file if I'm not making them defaults? Ahhh I'm a complete newbie at skins so with all the files I really don't know how I'll have to save them, if they will come up as various files etc.

I know you mentioned exporting them to the same package file for defaults but... for customs, I'm a bit lost and haven't found any tutorials that help me understand the saving process @3@~

One last question :D hehe~

I'm now studying how these skins are saved, and by downloading a .rar with ea's defaults, I'm seeing a lot of .dds files. One for the body, another for the face... then the same but called "dark"... and I'm really lost xD

For example there is one called "S3_00B2D882_00000000_4DB46D1662895FC3_amBody_m_0x4db46d1662895fc3%%+_IMG" and that is the adult male body, but when I open this other one called "S3_00B2D882_00000000_4DB46D1662895FC1_amBody_o_0x4db46d1662895fc1%%+_IMG", it's just the palms of the hands? However the other two files for female that are similar in name to those, are both body files.

I don't know if I'm making sense xD I just couldn't find a list of skin files on the internet, and I don't know where to start.

Tristan: "I didn't think you could come up with something like this on your own. Although 'Club Crimsyn' is something I could see you having a hand in."
Chris: "The 'Y' makes it hip."
Tristan: "Yes, if you say so."
