Just thought I'd toss up a link to some of the pictures I've taken in the last couple of days. These pics contain TS3 versions of James, Markus, Tristan, Emily, Jacob, Gelydh, and Aikea-Sim.
Gelydh and I are finding this game to be like crack.

Date: 2009-06-01 04:22 pm (UTC)Honestly, TS3 seems less system-intensive than TS2 for some reason. We have it set up on our laptop (bought just before xmas) as well as my desktop, and it works/looks fine even though the lt has zero bonus graphics.

Date: 2009-06-01 04:28 pm (UTC)The game really did grow on me, and rather quickly once I was able to start getting the sims to not look wretched (well, at least I like how my sims look). The gameplay and such has kept me amused in much the same way that TS2 did back in the day.

Date: 2009-06-02 02:11 am (UTC)I'm almost afraid to give the game a try. I've got too much I still want to accomplish with Sims2 and I'm afraid the new game will suck me in and not let me go.
Do you think custom skins and clothing meshes will be viable eventually? I'm also curious about custom hair meshes, since that's such a HUGE thing in Sims2. I think I'm most curious to see what the cc creators out there do. I know people won't be satisfied with just recolors forever.
